• The trading value of VN-Index in today session reached 3533.3 billion. The trading range was 6.04 points. The market recorded 152 gainers and 128 decliners.
• By the ending of the session, VN-Index increased 2.94 points, closing at 982.15points. However, HNX-Index decreased 0.04 points to 109.99 points.
• Foreign investors today net bought 52.73 billion on HOSE, focusing on MSN (37.52 billion), HPG (34.59 billion) and VNM (14.02 billion). However, they net sold 6.63 billion on HNX.

Market outlook
Although strong profit-taking pressure on banking stocks in the afternoon session, VN-Index slightly increased in today session as investors continued to maintain positive sentiment about the positive outlook on China-US tension, as well as the possibility that the Fed will raise interest rates in the coming September meeting. Foreign investors continued to support the market today as they remained net buy, especially MSN and HPG. BSC commented that the market is in a state of short-term accumulation while waiting for new supportive information to break through the 1000 points level in the next session, investors should continue to monitor the US-China trade tension news this week to open the position when there is positive news.
